The brushed surface most frequently seen on kitchen appliances and backsplashes is found on 304 stainless steel sheet #4. A PVC layer is applied to one side of the #4 finish 304 stainless steel sheet to assist prevent scratching during fabrication and installation. The #4 finish on our 304 stainless steel sheet satisfies the requirements for both the #3 and #4 finishes.
To choose the direction of the grain, simply enter the dimension in the “length” of the cost calculator that you want to have the grain run in, for example, on a 5″ by 10″ piece that the customer orders that are under 48″ long, the customer can choose which way the grain of the brushed finish runs (for a 10% extra cost).
